Winners of the Essay Contest on “Lessons of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi” Announced
On March 25, the Department of “Language and Teaching Methodology” at Angren University organized an essay competition titled “Lessons of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi” among students. The event was held in honor of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi — a prominent writer, public figure, publisher, educator, and founder of the Turkestan Jadidism movement, as decreed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Students demonstrated deep knowledge of Behbudi’s contributions to the Jadid movement. Their essays thoughtfully explored his literary works, pedagogical insights, and especially his famous play “Padarkush”. After thorough evaluation by subject specialists, the winners of the competition were selected.
1st Place — Farangiz Abdumavlonova
2nd Place — Bilola Soataliyeva
3rd Place — Charos Abduvaliyeva
Congratulations to the winners and all participants for their meaningful contributions!
