“We Remember the Great Victory!” Conference Held

On April 8th, a conference titled “WE REMEMBER THE GREAT VICTORY!” was held at Angren University. The event was organized by the professors of the Department of Language and its Teaching Methodology, Rahmonova G.G. and Nabieva K.A. The conference was dedicated to the Day of Memory and Honor and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War.

The event was attended by Angren University's Vice-Rector for Spirituality and Youth Affairs, Najmiddinov R.D., professors, and students from HT-24-3, 4, 5, and IF-24-1 groups.

Guests included the heads of the Belarus and Russian Cultural Centers — Nadolenko V.V., Babitskaya V.Ya., Elizarova N.G., and the “BRAVO” duet group. Also participating was L.M. Shilovskaya, a labor veteran of Angren city.

Together with the “BRAVO” group, famous wartime songs such as “Juravli,” “Eh, Roads...,” and “Blue Kerchief” were sung, and dances were performed. Students from the Foreign Languages Department read and presented military-themed poems.

At the end of the event, the guests were presented with thank-you letters from the university. In return, the Belarus and Russian Cultural Centers presented a congratulatory poster dedicated to the holiday.
