Angren University Participates in International Scientific-Technical Conference on Catalysis and Environmental Issues

From November 1–4, an international scientific and technical conference titled “Catalysis in Industry and Environmental Issues” is being held at the City Palace Hotel Tashkent. The event is jointly organized by Angren University, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, the Uzbek Scientific Research Institute of Chemical-Pharmaceuticals (O'zKFITI), and the Scientific-Engineering Society of the Oil and Gas Industry of Uzbekistan.

The conference brings together over 40 international and more than 50 local scientists, specialists, and industry leaders, who are sharing presentations focused on solving critical challenges in industrial production and scientific research at a global scale.

Participants are gaining key insights in the following areas:

• Catalysts and processes in oil and gas refining and petrochemistry
  
  

• Catalysis in environmental protection
  
  

• Modern and prospective catalysts in gas chemistry processes
  
  

• Energy-saving technologies and catalysis
  
  

• Economic and environmental issues in the oil and gas sector
  
  

At the event, Acting Rector of Angren University, Sh. Mutalov, delivered a speech, emphasizing the growing support for academic research at the university.

Thanks to the favorable conditions created for research activities, many professors and lecturers from Angren University actively participated in the conference. This growing focus on scientific capacity-building is expected to motivate researchers to continue contributing to future international conferences with their papers and studies.
