Angren University Earns Bronze in National “Dota 2” Esports Tournament
From November 5 to 7, the International “Ziyo Forum” Foundation for the Development of Science and Education organized a national “Dota 2” esports tournament at Cyber Arena, aimed at:
Making student leisure time more meaningful,
Promoting the development of cybersports in Uzbekistan,
Supporting youth recognition at local and international levels.
The competition brought together teams from 62 higher education institutions across the country and was filled with intense, high-stakes matches.
Final Results:
1st Place: Webster University in Tashkent – 10,000,000 UZS
2nd Place: Westminster International University in Tashkent – 7,500,000 UZS
3rd Place: Angren University – 5,000,000 UZS
In the final stages, Angren University’s team secured a key victory over Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TATU) to advance and face the Webster University team, which included players from Uzbekistan’s national esports team.
We are incredibly proud of our team for making it to the top three and honorably representing Angren University in a nationwide tournament! Their dedication, teamwork, and skill have brought well-deserved recognition and pride to our institution.
