October 21 – Uzbek Language Day

In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Uzbek language being granted the status of the state language, a short festive event was organized in the university courtyard by the Department of Language and Language Teaching.

During the event, students warmly welcomed their teachers and presented them with engaging language-related challenges and quiz games focused on the Uzbek language.

At the end of the event, participants were informed with fascinating facts about the state language, including the remarkable note that nearly 50 million people worldwide speak Uzbek today.
